Maggie Wiles, MA, LCMHCA

Licensed Therapist

Hi! My name is Maggie and I am a licensed therapist. I grew up in the greater Atlanta area and moved to The Queen City about five years ago. I graduated from Appalachian State University for my bachelor’s degree and consider myself a die-hard Mountaineer!

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating substance use, personality and mood disorders, and PTSD, with a focus on creating a stable, steady environment where real healing can take root. My approach blends accountability, compassion, and consistent support, because meaningful change often requires both a safe space and the willingness to do hard, honest work. What I find most rewarding in this field is witnessing clients make powerful, self-driven changes that reshape their lives.

I believe that healing is a gradual, intentional process. One quote that guides my work is:
“Healing is like tending a garden — you can’t rush the blooms, but with patience, care, and light, beauty will always return.”

Fun facts about Maggie: Outside the therapy room, I’m often in my own garden, growing flowers and cultivating food for my family. I’m currently building a duck house in my backyard, and I’ll happily admit I’m far too obsessed with my dog. These parts of my life keep me grounded, remind me of the value of patience, and inspire the work I do with clients every day.
